Runner's High - Learning to Fly!

5 weeks til the Halifax Bluenose 1/2-Marathon

Get my butt in gear!!! I signed up for the event so I could feel the pressure to add mileage for my October marathon, but it's coming up a little fast.

I did get out for a long run on Sat., 22.5 kms in rain and mist but the amazing thing was the runner's high!!! I really got to the point of feeling I could go on forever! I know that doesn't happen all the time, but just like learning how to have a good orgasm, now that I know what it feels like, I'm definitely going to get to that "space" again and again!!!

This week I've got to get in some speed drills and hills, I really think spinning is helping though. There's so many conflicting training programs for racing... what's a girls supposed to choose.

Anyways, I had to write about the runner's high, it just was so good...:) inspired to try and get one for yourself???
